This game looks damned good!
If is available for x-box 360 i'll buy it. Atm my console is burned anyway :target:.
My bro called Microsoft's and they said is normal becouz the 1st machines were bound to blow up, they don't even know if is an hardware of software issue! Anyway they are gonna repair mine or gimme a new one, for free even if the warranty ended 1 year ago.

Got the game yesterday.. its freaking imba. got the collector's edition so i got part 1 aswell now..its very addictive.. and Alma....is scary!

tbh ive played it... and FEAR 1 i finished...

my 2 cents...

FEAR1 was imba.. a real nice next-gen game at the time it got released.
Awesome GFX, very imba AI in a friggin scary storyline. (the game was a tad short, but all the previous mentioned things easily made up for that loss).

FEAR2 .. it just plain sucks... it mainly consists of running miles and miles through empty hallways.. sometimes it takes me just 10 minutes of running in a labyrinth without encountering 1 single NPC.
Also the shady "Alma" from FEAR1 has lost all its spice in FEAR2.. and the GFX are nice, but not as "next-gen" as FEAR1 was at all.

FEAR2 to me is definately a big phat downer compared to FEAR1
I expected more from a 11GB game.

FarCry2 > FEAR2 by far.

This is the BEST fighterjet simulation game ive seen in years!
No difficult taking off, landing.. bearings and shit... just arcade style bashing air to air and air to ground targets in a nice storyline with a fairly easy to control UI.

Definately worth a try!

I liked FEAR1 very much, allthough the shoutouts in office environments got a bit repetitive after a while. Some genuinely creepy moments in that game - that's pretty rare.

So i made a good decision to play 2 first? cause i've read more about the dissapiontments FEAR 2 gave the player..cause indeed the spread of the NPC's could have been better.. there are clutters to shoot through at the most non logic spots and no NPC in sight at the spots that would actually fit. Well.. gonna finish FEAR 2 first and then go play the scary part XD

Dont know if you made the right decision, i mean.. ofcourse its easy to say FEAR2 sux compared to FEAR1.. yet it does.
Although you have to realize FEAR1 is a past-gen game now.. and GFX may be dissapointing to what you are used to in nowaday games.

FEAR1 was really creepy as feday said.. i can add one big downside to FEAR1 which actually improved in FEAR2 .. thats the ammount of different NPC's ::
FEAR1 had .. if i recall correct .. 2 different NPC textures.. ive seen 4 already in FEAR2 :P

I still play Max Payne 1 every now and then :) so graphics don't do that much too me. im about the atmosphere and the setting.. and if FEAR 1 beats part 2 on that then im okay :) On a side note.. i do like the smart AI in the game.. cause now i actually have to think about killing them without getting shot to pieces or be turned into a ATC Fried Chicken.
