BTW, the design of Ducati is very good! But they are a technical disaster.

Myca this VFR is a new one, i mean a 2009 version? or is still based on the 80's project???
A friend of mine has it but is the model of 3 years ago; Honda, as far as i know, didn't improve it so much (it was already a good moto anyway). i'd like to switch as well, maybe go for an Hypermotarde or a Speed Triple.
I love Yamaha R6, but is not a motorcycle i can use every day for going in office.
Anyway this spring i am gonna buy the leather suit and try some laps in circuits :P.

Allready have a leather suit and allready lapped circuits on my 600F ;)

And yes, they changed alot under the skin (better fuel consumption etc).
But the real change is coming this year!!!

THE VFR V5 1000!!!!!!!!!!!

But I still like the VFR very much :)
You cannot say it is old, because it was changed dramatically in 2001, then they perfected the system etc...

Same Myca: i bought mine in april 2007, and i love it, easy to ride, in the trafficjam is fast and flexible. But with that VFR i might travel for miles and miles before getting tired ;P.

Becouz mine is naked, i tried to travel for 400 km in a day, or 1200 in a week-end and in the evening i was SMASHED! Over 170 km/h speed my neck hurts, the noise in the helmet is loud (and i have a 600 euro Arai Viper GT, not a shitty helmet).
The VFR is much much better for travels and medium-long trips.

In Germany I easily rode a whole day (400km?) and then went to home after a meal (350km).

No biggie on my CBR :)

GIEF DUCATI!!!!!!!! I always loved Ducati's, but indeed they are technical disasters. Alessandro your bike almost looks exactly like mine :D I feel some kind of connection. I recognise the feeling of the neck when driving fast on a naked bike. It sucks for the helmet, since you are the windshield. :( But I do love my bike. If I would change my bike for any other I would probably go for the new Honda CBR600RR or I would switch to a 1000. My dreambike would be a Ducati 848 or the really oldkskool 916 :)

Yes Yorik, our 2 bikes are almost the same, in both the look and the performaces, i like them both!
Once i saw a test comparing our 2 bikes and there wes kinda no difference at all.
CBR RR is imba man, i tried it, 260 km/h was like a walk in the park, while with mine at 240 km/h the helmet flies away :P.

IF you dont want to WASTE money, dont go take lessons in the summer. The CBR will be flooded with applies and you will be force to take more lessons then needed while waiting for an exam chance.

From my experience is January the best month to start taking lessons (depends on how fast you are, I had 13 lessons for all 3 exams...but most need 30-40).

+ Summer sucks.... too much heat for making rounds on a parking lot.

What Kyonari does here in that movie is simply brilliant.... and very daring. One could easily said it was too risky... but he did it the ENTIRE race, really showing he had the skills for it :)

Stelvio sucks ballz, i hate "U" curves, not so funny (i think there are something like 40 over there). There's a bikers meeting going on at Stelvio, but sucks ballz as well becouz there are 3k bikes all around and is impossible to have fun and ride like i want to ....
Anyway a collegue of mine went to Scotland by motorbike ofc, i wanna plan also this trip :D, he told me the place is fuckin' awesome.... only problem is u can go there from end of may till half july, in other periods weather sucks ballz :viking:.
